Our Services

1:1 Private Yoga Sessions

1:1 sessions are the best way to receive the most personalised approach. Initial sessions are 90 minutes, which allows us to have a thorough understanding of what you would like to gain for our sessions together. Follow-up sessions thereafter are 60 minutes. Sessions can be used for physical yoga practice, breathing practices and/or meditation. These sessions are designed to be therapeutic and aligned to your own individual needs and goals. Sessions take place in-person at Health Hub Hastings Point, home visits (on request) or online.

Suitable to those:

  • New to yoga

  • Navigating trauma, anxiety, depression and PTSD

  • With injuries, disabilities or health concerns

  • Wanting support with building a self-practice tailored to specific needs and goals

  • Experienced practitioners wanting to refine their practice

I also offer collaborative care approaches alongside your healthcare team and complementary correspondence and/or referrals to health professionals to encourage collaborative, holistic approaches to your health and wellbeing. This may include collaboration with your GP, physiotherapist, psychologist or other yoga teachers.

Alicia’s group classes are taught from the Health Hub at Hastings Point, just minutes away from the beautiful creek, headland and coastline. These classes are taught in an inclusive and choice-based manner with a trauma-informed lens. Whilst you will be guided through a pre-planned sequence of movement, breathing and meditation practices, everything is invitational and Alicia will always celebrate you choosing the options that best honour your needs. Currently, there are 2 styles of group classes available:

Senior’s Yoga

A gentle class consisting of mindful movement and meditation with the support of chairs and yoga props. Suitable for seniors and those seeking a practice tailored to injuries or reduced physical movement. Classes are running every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am-10:30am with the option to join for coffee and a chat at the cafe next door afterwards!

Yoga and Meditation

A general style of class structured similar to a traditional yoga class. It will generally include an opening mindfulness practice, movement to warm up the body, movement to cool down the body and a concluding breathing practice or meditation. The practices taught are drawn from various yoga lineages, including Hatha, Ashtanga and Yin to create a blended practice that balances both strength and ease. Classes are running every Friday (9:30am-10:45am) and Sunday (8am-9:15am) with the option to join for coffee and a chat at the cafe next door afterwards!
